Idris Family Appreciates Tinubu, Atiku, Bello, Ododo, Others for Support

..... As the Idris family prayed that Allah would reward all those who stood by them and grant them continued blessings for their acts of kindness and solidarity.

The family of the late Alhaji Ibrahim Idris has expressed profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Alhaji Adoza Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi State and, the present Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and other dignitaries for their support and solidarity following the death and burial of their patriarch.

The family also acknowledged the presence, condolences and support of governors, members of the National Assembly, political leaders, traditional rulers and other prominent Nigerians who stood by them during the period of bereavement.

In a statement signed by Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim Idris, Ochada Onu-Ife and Wazirin Jakadan Sokoto, for the family, the Idris family expressed particular gratitude to Governor Ododo for his support and to Hajia Aisha Ibrahim Idris for her contributions and support during the funeral rites.

The family also appreciated the Igala people, the people of Kogi State and Nigerians from across the country for identifying with them and sharing in their grief.

The statement further recognised members of the late Ibrahim Idris’ political family, friends, associates and well-wishers who offered their condolences, prayers and assistance during the period.

The Idris family prayed that Allah would reward all those who stood by them and grant them continued blessings for their acts of kindness and solidarity.

The family also prayed to Allah to forgive the shortcomings of the deceased, grant him eternal rest and admit him into Aljannatul Firdaus.
